TXM Recruit are currently working with a property management company who provide a dedicated VIP service to worldwide clientele, and we are looking for a Maintenance Operative to work in Newmarket
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, with lots of overtime available.
Weekends on a shift rota ( 1 in 4 )
Salary: £35,000 (Overtime after 40 hours is at time and a half)
This role requires flexibility during their busy season (May to October) with regards to hours and days worked.
Key responsibilities:
* Undertake general property maintenance & repairs throughout our properties including carpentry, tiling and general repairs to doors, windows & locking systems.
* Installation & repairs gutters and drainpipe systems.
* General repairs of basic plumbing.
* Source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers.
* Oversee contractors.
* Provide cover for colleagues in times of absence and on – call assistance.
* Seasonal shift & on call rota.
* Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety.
* Any other duties as and when required.
