Job Description

Position: Maintenance Co-ordinator (Carpenter/Handyperson)\n\nLocation: London W1\n\nReports to: Maintenance Supervisor and Estate Manager\n\n 1. Purpose\n\n- To provide a consistently high standard of maintenance in the building.\n\n 1. Hours of Duty\n\n * (phone number removed) hours daily, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour unpaid meal\n\nBreak.\n\n 1.

Holidays\n\n- 20 working days + Bank Holidays.\n\n 1. Duties and Responsibilities\n\n * To check the maintenance log book at reception twice each day for new entries and to record work completed.\n\n * To ensure that you are contactable on your work mobile phone within working hours.\n\n * To attend with minimum delay to all general maintenance work as reported to reception and recorded in the handyman’s book.\n\n * To carry out all light carpentry works as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.\n\n * To assist, when and where required, other members of the maintenance team within the scope of your own ability and qualifications.\n\n * To carry out some painting and decorating as and when required.\n\n * To carry out any adhoc maintenance work as instructed by the Maintenance Supervisor.\n\n * To keep upto-date and accurate records of all work completed.\n\n * To wear and take proper care of any protective clothing and/or uniform provided by the company.\n\n * To have proper regard at all times for the health and safety .\n\n * To carry out other duties which may from time to time be directed by the Estate Manager or Maintenance Supervisor and which are within the capabilities of the job holder
