The successful applicant must demonstrate experience in the following areas: Managing diverse contracts across both Public and Private sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. Conducting site surveys to assess building services and evaluate tender requirements. Engaging with clients and stakeholders to identify service needs and develop cost-effective, planned and reactive maintenance strategies. Preparing accurate cost estimates by inputting labour resources, materials, and specialist contractor prices into the Estimating Programme. Developing bid strategies in collaboration with the business development team to optimise contract award success. Participating in tender finalisation meetings to evaluate and refine proposals. Supporting procurement and operations teams during contract mobilisation. Building comprehensive market knowledge, including competitor analysis and delivery strategy options. About You Essential Criteria: Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in either Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical Services trades and with a minimum of two years' experience in an estimation role post trade qualification or Building Services qualification HNC/HND with a minimum of two years' experience in an estimating role. Demonstrate strong communication and technical skills. Experience working with a computer-based cost management system, as well as proficient in the use of Microsoft excel & Word. The ability to positively engage with clients to gain an understanding of their current delivery model with a view to tailoring our bid to ensure best strategic delivery, value for money and first best in class service. Wide experience in the hard services industry, including mechanical, electrical, building fabric and specialist maintenance Desirable Criteria: Comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitors and potential growth opportunities. Experience estimating Planned & Reactive maintenance contracts. Experience in minor maintenance project works. Experience in new energy efficient low carbon technologies. Previous experience and knowledge of NEC3, NEC4, JCT & GC Works contracts Experience delivering maintenance services including Mechanical, Electrical and other specialist services would be advantageous e.g., catering, air conditioning, gas etc. Please note that Applicants will not be expected to meet any (or all) of the desirable criteria to be considered for interview.
