Maintenance Engineer - £40,000-£46,000 + overtime + 25 Days Annual Leave + Leading Business + Private Healthcare + Career Progression!Location: Trafford ParkHours: 37 hours per week | 3-shift rotating pattern (flexible working scheme) | Lots of overtimeThe Opportunity - Maintenance EngineerI am recruiting a couple of Maintenance Engineer to join the site maintenance team at our Trafford Park manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role supporting a busy heavy industrial environment, where your ability to diagnose faults quickly, restore production, and drive reliability will be key. While the role is primarily electrical, you'll also be expected to confidently support the mechanical-biased maintenance activities alongside the wider engineering team.Key Responsibilities - Maintenance EngineerProviding responsive breakdown support to keep production running safely and efficientlyCarrying out electrical fault finding, repair, and diagnostic work on production machineryCompleting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and documenting work completedSupporting continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and uptimeWorking safely in line with site Health & Safety standards, risk assessments and permits to workAssisting with mechanical maintenance tasks when required (e.g., bearings, belts, guards, alignment)Liaising with production teams and external contractors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activityEnsuring accurate completion of maintenance records and reporting recurring issues to improve reliabilityThe ideal candidate - Maintenance EngineerProven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing, production, or heavy industryStrong fault-finding capability on electrical systems including motors, control panels, relays, sensors, drives/invertersComfortable supporting basic maintenance tasks as part of a multi-skilled teamAbility to work safely under pressure during breakdown situations and prioritise effectivelyGood communication skills and a professional, team-focused approachQualifications / Certifications (Preferred) - Maintenance EngineerRecognised Electrical Engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)(essential)18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable)Experience in industrial control systems / PLC fault finding (advantageous)IOSH / H&S awareness training (beneficial)What We OfferCompetitive salary with shift allowance included25 days annual leavePrivate medical cover (after qualifying period)Pension 5% company contributionEarly Finish FridayEmployee Discount HubDeath in Service for all employees from day 1 1 x salary payout whilst in probationary period or fixed term; 4 x salary payout after PP.37-hour working week with 3-shift rotationRegular overtime opportunitiesStable employment within an established industrial manufacturing operationSupportive engineering team environment with opportunities for developmentInterested apply now!JBRP1_UKTJ
