Maintenance Engineer - Temp to Perm?? Location: Aston, Birmingham ?? Pay Rate: £22 per hour ? Working Hours: 40 hours per week | Sunday - Thursday | 11:00am - 7:30pmWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a background in food production or food packaging manufacturing to join a busy food manufacturing facility in Aston, Birmingham.?? Please note: Experience working within a food production or food packaging manufacturing environment is strongly preferred for this role.This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability within a growing food manufacturing operation.This role is a 50/50 split between hands-on engineering and maintenance coordination, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys both technical work and team leadership responsibilities.The Role of a Maintenance Engineer?? Technical Maintenance (50%)You will play a key role in ensuring the production facility operates efficiently by:Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenanceDiagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faultsMinimising downtime and restoring production quicklyMaintaining food production and packaging machineryEnsuring compliance with food safety standards, GMP, and HACCP??
