We re delighted to advertise an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our South West England & South Wales team based at Leinthall Quarry. As a Maintenance Engineer you ll enjoy problem solving and working as part of a wider team. You ll be working to identify the root cause for mechanical defects and breakdowns, offering solutions to problematic equipment, aiming to resolve problems in a time efficient and safe manner. You ll support the wider Maintenance team to identify and support preventative maintenance activities across our site. Do you have...? Experience in an industrial maintenance role. Knowledge and experience of hydraulics, concrete pan mixers, welding, fabrication and mechanics. NVQ in Mechanical Maintenance or BTEC equivalent. A full UK driving licence. NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Safety and/or NEBOSH qualification (advantageous). You will work with our Maintenance Team Leader to support the development of a preventative maintenance system; carrying out planned maintenance activities to ensure that our plants operate safely and reliably. You will also play a key 'hands on' role in the planning and implementation of plant improvements. You will need to have the ability to quickly fault find, respond to any unplanned plant shutdowns and work closely with other team members and contractors as required.
