Following continued site investment and growth, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer / Technician to join the team at their Basingstoke facility.What youll be doing:Working as part of a high-performing engineering team, this Maintenance Engineer / Technician role will play a key part in maximising uptime across manufacturing, facilities, and laboratory equipment. This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same, combining reactive maintenance, preventative activities, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities include:Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across manufacturing, facilities and lab equipmentSupporting instrumentation calibration and maintaining validated specificationsDiagnosing faults and implementing effective corrective actionsWorking alongside contractors on specialist maintenance activitiesSupporting commissioning of new equipment and processesContributing to continuous improvement and optimisation of maintenance strategiesEnsuring all work is completed in line with safety, quality and compliance standardsWhat were looking for: Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation etc.)Experience in a maintenance role within a regulated or manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of preventative maintenance and calibration activitiesStrong fault-finding skills and a proactive approachComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamWhy join?Stable, growing global organisation with continued investmentStrong team culture and collaborative engineering functionClear opportunity to develop technically and professionallyExcellent benefits package and regular pay reviewsModern, well-equipped site environmentIf you have an engineering qualification and hands-on maintenance experience within a manufacturing or regulated environment, wed love to hear from you.
