Facilities Maintenance Engineer Annual Salary: £37,500 - £40,000 Location: Ruabon, Wrexham Job Type: Full-time Join a leading manufacturing facility in Europe as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer. This role is crucial for managing and implementing maintenance projects across various departments, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Day-to-day of the role: Provide electrical and mechanical support across different departments. Conduct electrical installations and mechanical maintenance, adhering to the company’s Safe System of Work and Isolation Policy. Manage general facility maintenance and service improvements, including sourcing and managing contractors for various projects. Maintain a flexible approach to support Production and Moulding Operations daily. Make minor adjustments to PLC programming to enhance production efficiency. Implement energy-saving improvements and initiatives. Adhere to a TPM schedule and address Production system breakdowns, including maintenance of automation equipment. Required Skills & Qualifications: HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Qualified as per the 18th Edition of the IEE regulations. Experience in managing small building projects, such as plumbing and heating systems. Motivated to continually improve knowledge and skills. Creative problem-solving abilities with a focus on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Well-organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage renovation and repair projects. Effective communication skills for collaborating with various stakeholders. Ability to work well in a team, dedicated, tenacious, and quick to learn new concepts.
