Benefits: Days role 4 day working week (no weekend shifts) 21 days holiday plus bank hols Extensive training and development opportunities Remit: As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for providing effective maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of injection moulding machines, associated robotics, automation equipment and site facilities The Maintenance Engineer will play a critical role in minimising downtime, maximizing machinery performance and ensuring safe, efficient production operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a forward-thinking company on a 4-day, days only role. Role: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on injection moulding machinery, robotics and auxiliary equipment. Respond to breakdowns swiftly, ensuring root cause is identified and corrective action is implemented. Support maintenance and ensure machines are production-ready in line with schedules. Undertake electrical and mechanical fault-finding on equipment, including hydraulics and pneumatics. Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment. Support installation and commission of new plant and equipment. Ensure spare parts stock levels are maintained and requisitions are raised. Contribute to training and knowledge sharing with the team. Experience Requirements: Proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally within plastics / injection moulding or a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and automation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations Desirable. Experience with PLC fault finding and programming Desirable. Knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement principles Desirable. Proficient in planned and reactive maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
