This role is ideal for an engineer with strong mechanical and electrical capability, excellent fault-finding skills, and experience supporting heavy industrial environments.----------------------------------------Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:Perform planned and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial production machinery and associated equipment.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair both electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems to maximise machine uptimeAssist with the specification, installation, and commissioning of new moulding machines and peripheral equipment (dryers, chillers, robots, hot runner systems).Ensure all machinery complies with PUWER, LOLER, HSE, and internal safety standards.Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and compliance with safety standards.Assist with installation, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment when required.----------------------------------------Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer:Multi-skilled engineer with a strong mechanical base.Background in heavy industrial, manufacturing, or machinery-heavy environments.Ability to work independently during the 210 shift while supporting wider engineering functions.Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.----------------------------------------Benefits of the Maintenance Engineer:Competitive salary £42,000£45,00012.5% shift allowanceCompany pension schemeLife AssuranceBonusAPPLY NOW for the Maintenance Engineer role!!----------------------------------------Thank you for your application.
