Your responsibilities as Maintenance Engineer
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime
  • Respond quickly to equipment failures, diagnosing faults and completing repairs
  • Conduct routine inspections and servicing to identify issues early
  • Support installation, upgrades, and commissioning of new machinery
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts inventory
  • Work closely with production teams to maximise machinery performance
What were looking for in a Maintenance Engineer
  • Previous experience within a maintenance engineering environment
  • A full, UK driving licence (essential)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Proven fault-finding and diagnostic capability on production equipment
  • Experience working within manufacturing, ideally food or FMCG
  • Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent practical experience
