We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join our engineering team at a busy manufacturing site in the Heart of Leicester. responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and improving production machinery to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
Joining the Engineering Team you will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and improving production machinery to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency while responding to breakdowns ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of the manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • Quality Checks of maintenance activities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Standards at all times
  • Demonstrate hands on ownership and confidence when responding to breakdowns
  • Prioritise system faults
  • Accurately record work carried out
  • Collaborate with colleagues
  • Ensure CMMS is correctly updated
Experience and Qualifications required for an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical/Mechanical Qualification, Time Served Apprenticeship
  • Good understanding of Siemens / Allen Bradley
  • Good understanding of SCADA control systems
  • Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good manufacturing practices
