Maintenance Engineer (Double Days).

Birmingham, West Midlands.

Manufacturing Business.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + Overtime.

Package: 5% Matched Pension + Life Assurance + 33 Days Holiday.

Shift Pattern: Double Days - 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 9:45pm (Monday – Friday) / Weekly Rotation (37.5 hours per week)

A highly successful manufacturing business based in the centre of Birmingham are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced team. Working within this dynamic manufacturing environment, this role incorporates both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of automated machinery. Having installed brand new £multi-million machinery, this will appeal to an engineer looking to work on the latest in machinery technology.

This role will suit a Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working as part of a multi-skilled team within a stimulating, technically challenging environment! Full machinery specific training and further career development are on offer!

Role Description.

* Providing planned and reactive maintenance engineering across a broad range of automated production / process machinery.

* Mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair activities.

* Overhauling machinery and installing / moving new equipment when required.

* Assisting in engineering project work, supporting improvement activities and initiatives.

* Following all Health and Safety procedures.

* Helping with breakdown reports.

* Working alongside a cross-sectional team of skilled engineers.

Skills and Qualifications

* Maintenance Engineering experience – Mech or Elec Biased.

* Qualified to Level 3+ in an engineering discipline.

* Ability to perform both planned and reactive maintenance.

* Ability to read engineering schematics.

* Experience within a manufacturing environment.
