Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Salary: Competitive + Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, alternating shifts – 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm
The Role We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Leeds site. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of electrical and mechanical systems, cranes, and steel processing machinery. This will include carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and coordinating specialist contractors — all while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, including:

Overhead cranes
*
Conveyors
*
Cutting, shearing, and processing machinery
*
HVAC systems, compressors, and general site services
*
Diagnose and repair faults, carrying out modifications as required.

Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and accurate records.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with statutory and company standards.

Coordinate with external contractors for specialist works, ensuring all safety documentation is in place.
