Key Skills Apprentice Trained Engineer Experience of Packaging Machinery Understanding of PPM systems The Role Develop, test, and implement engineering solutions that improve packaging processes, line performance, and product quality. Support R&D and NPD (New Product Development) activities, including trials, prototyping, and evaluation of new packaging formats or machinery. Assist with the integration, setup, and optimisation of packaging machinery and automation technologies. Lead engineering investigations, identify root causes, and deliver corrective and preventive actions. Provide technical support for customer projects, including blue-chip FMCG clients and leading retailers. Prepare engineering documentation: test reports, line set-up specifications, risk assessments, and technical drawings.
