The role focuses on performing planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal performance of the plant in line with health, safety, and quality standards, while driving improvements across the site. Follow site procedures related to quality, environmental, and health & safety systemsContinuously improve plant operations, processes, and the working environment, collaborating across departmentsAssist in monitoring external contractors and ensuring compliance with site rules.Conduct regular plant inspections and auditsRespond quickly to unscheduled plant stoppages to minimize downtimeUtilise system for recording labour, materials, and performing planned maintenance tasks (PPM)Safely and efficiently repair plant equipment and servicesParticipate in maintaining the overall efficiency of the maintenance department, including tool management, housekeeping, and spare parts controlBe part of the maintenance call-out program.Diagnose and resolve plant/process defects using Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Work within budget guidelines and seek cost-reduction opportunitiesEngage in and promote a Safety-First cultureIdentify and pursue personal development and training opportunitiesShare and implement best practices within a process driven industry.
