Job description:

Our client is currently looking to recruit an Electromechanical Engineer to work at their busy food production site on the outskirts of Saffron Walden (CB10). This is a busy and expanding manufacturing plant, and due to the nature of the work required, you will be expected to undertake physical tasks in a dusty environment on a regular basis.

Salary. £40,000 - £50,000 p/a, subject to experience.

Duties:

* Drive efficient and effective PPM schedules.

* Identify and undertake improvements to the site in a proactive fashion.

* Swiftly solve unplanned downtime and breakdowns.

* Operate welding equipment for general maintenance and reactive repairs.

* Liaise with all members of the site management team.

Skills and Experience:

* Electrical or Mechanical Engineering experience. (required)

* Working knowledge of PPM systems. (required)

* Automated Manufacturing Experience (required)

* FMCG - Food Experience. (preferred)

* Welding Experience (preferably Stick, TIG and MIG)

* FLT Licence - Counterbalance (preferred)
