Field Service Engineer – Electrical Bias
Location: Driffield, North Yorkshire
Salary: £45,000 basic + benefits
Shifts: Straight Days (Monday to Friday)
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer in the Driffield area, looking to strengthen their engineering department with the addition of a skilled Field Service Engineer.

The role:
*
Carry out both reactive and planned electrical maintenance across the site
*
Diagnose faults and ensure minimal downtime on production equipment
*
Work on a variety of electrical systems including motors, control panels, sensors, drives, and PLCs (basic fault finding)
*
Support installation and improvement projects
*
Work closely with mechanical engineers and production teams to maintain high performance standards
*
Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and site procedures
About you:
*
Time-served or qualified Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
*
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (FMCG/food/pharma experience beneficial)
*
Strong fault-finding skills and understanding of electrical systems, drives, and automation
*
Capable of working independently and as part of a wider team
*
Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high engineering standard
