The Maintenance Engineer vacancy is working with a leading manufacturing company based in the Peterborough area. The position offers excellent opportunities for both training and career development.\n\nLocation: Peterborough (Commutable from Yaxley, Stamford, Whittlesey)\n\nWhat's in it for you as a Maintenance Engineer:\n\nHours of Work - Monday - Friday (6-2/2-10/10-6)\nSalary - £54,000 with annual pay increases\nEnhanced Holiday allowance \nOvertime paid at 1.5x and 2x\nDiscretionary bonus scheme\nTraining, Career and Development opportunities \nEnhanced Company pension\nEmployee Assistance Programme \n Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer;\n\nProviding plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery\nMonitor & supply engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.\nKeeping and implementing plant wide PPM structures ensuring H&S, quality assurance as well as liaising with Engineering Stores\nWorking within a small Team and along side contractors to diagnose breakdowns and Mechanical Faults across the Plant\n Experience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Engineer; \n\nRecognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or HNC and HND - Mechanical \nTime served Mechanical Engineer or Fitter \nAbility to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems\nHigh degree of Health & Safety awareness
