Job Description
Maintenance Engineer \n\nSalary - £45,000\n\nShift Pattern - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm\n\nLocation - near Peterborough\n\nWe are partnering with a well-renowned and recognised FMCG Manufacturer near Peterborough to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProactively deliver scheduled maintenance to maximise production line efficiency, reliability and overall performance\nDiagnose faults and carry out repairs across a broad range of modern production and packaging equipment\nCollaborate closely with Production Teams, sharing technical expertise and supporting operators to enhance equipment performance and reliability\nContribute to continuous improvement projects focused on reducing downtime and driving operational efficiency\nSupport the installation, commissioning and upgrading of new machinery and production lines\nEnsure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety and food industry regulations and standards\nAccurately complete maintenance documentation and keep records up to dateRequirements:\n\nExperience working as Maintenance Engineer in a FMCG or manufacturing environment, working with production/packaging machinery.\nEngineering Level 3 Qualification, sich as (NVQ or BTEC)\nExperience in a similar role, such as (multi skilled maintenance engineer, shift engineer, shift technician, engineering technician, maintenance technician, or electrical maintenance engineer).\nDemonstrated experience of driving or contributing to continuous improvement activities\nExcellent verbal and written communication skillsShould this be of interest, then please apply or send an email to for more information
