Maintenance Engineer\n\nPinxton, NG16\n\nContinental Shift Pattern\n\nPermanent Role\n\nUp to £40k (DOE)\n\nPermanent Position\n\nAn established manufacturing operation is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a key role supporting high‑volume production across a large-scale manufacturing facility.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing effective reactive and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery, ancillary equipment, and site infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nResponding promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime\nCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)\nDiagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults\nMaintaining and servicing machinery and equipment\nSupporting tool changes and ensuring correct operation\nMaintaining ancillary equipment such as dryers, conveyors, chillers, compressors, and robots\nCompleting maintenance logs, reports, and documentation accurately\nWorking closely with production teams to resolve recurring issues\nSupporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives \n\nSkills & Experience:\n\nYou will ideally have:\n\nProven experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment\nStrong fault‑finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems\nA proactive, safety‑focused approach\nThe ability to work effectively within a 24/7 production environment\nEngineering qualifications are advantageous but not essential, depending on experience \n\nShift Pattern & Package:\n\nShift Pattern: Continental shifts - 3 days on / 3 days off\nHours: 07:00 - 19:00\nSalary: Up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)\nOvertime: Paid at time and a half after 39 hours\nOvertime Availability: Regular opportunities \n\nTo Apply\n\nIf you feel that you have the skills / desire for this role, please click Apply.
