About the Role
A leading manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join its fast-paced production site in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing organisation, supporting high-volume manufacturing operations and ensuring maximum equipment uptime.
You will play a key role in maintaining and improving production machinery, minimising downtime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Shift Pattern
This role offers a highly attractive work-life balance with a 3-on, 4-off shift pattern:

Week 1: Sunday – Tuesday, 05:30 – 18:00

Week 2: Monday – Wednesday, 05:30 – 18:00
Salary & Benefits
*
Hourly Rate: £22.69 per hour
*
Annual Salary: £44,245 (based on standard hours)
*
Overtime: Paid at 1.4x standard rate (readily available)
*
Consistent long weekends due to shift rotation

Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery
*
Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
*
Support mechanical maintenance tasks when required
*
Fault finding on control systems and PLCs (training available if required)
*
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
*
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
*
Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
Skills & Experience Required
*
Strong electrical background (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent )
*
Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
*
Proven fault-finding ability on electrical systems
*
Basic mechanical knowledge
*
PLC fault finding experience (desirable)
*
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
