The basics:
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Position: Permanent
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: Alsager
Pay: £49,000 - £56,000 DOE
Hours: Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays
Holidays: 22 shifts.
Overview:
Working for a large scale manufacturer, we now require a site-based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
Time served apprentice trained or above
Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite)Commutable from:
Alsager, Sandbach, Crewe, Nantwich, Congleton, Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
