In this role, you will determine and execute routine preventative maintenance activities and procedures and assess and implement major fault repairs, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.Your responsibilities in this role would be:Accountable for completion of assigned routine preventative maintenance activitiesIdentification and mitigation of equipment faults.Responding to breakdowns of equipment, assessment, diagnosis, repair of faults or escalationCo-ordinating of OXBs external engineering resource in relationship to specialist repairs and maintenance of assetsCompleting regulatory routine monitoringEvaluating asset performance against determined criteriaCompleting quality documentation for critical failuresEscalating events impacting engineering assets.Identification and management of critical engineering stock inventory.Maintain a safety-first approach to assets and engineering procedures.We are looking for:A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and EnglishAn apprenticeship to NVQ 3 Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.Experience within a GxP Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry is preferred or alternatively a similar regulated environment.Good working knowledge of Health and Safety within an engineering environment is needed.About Us:OXB is a quality and innovation-led viral vector CDMO with a mission to enable its clients to deliver life changing therapies to patients around the world.
