Job Description

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to deliver both reactive and planned maintenance across a wide range of production machinery. This is a full-time, permanent role offering flexible hours and the chance to lead electrical projects and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nClient Details\n\nOur client is a long-established manufacturer with a reputation for quality and innovation, operating from an established site in West Yorkshire. They offer a supportive environment focused on safety, reliability, and ongoing development.\n\nDescription\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nPerform reactive and planned maintenance on diverse production equipment.\nDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults, including PLCs and ABB inverters.\nLead electrical project work, including planning and installation.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.\nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.\nCollaborate effectively within a team and work independently when required.\nMaintain accurate documentation and contribute to maintenance strategies.Profile\n\nA successful Maintenance Engineer should have:\n\nQualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Maintenance.\nStrong electrical bias with proven experience in PLCs, inverters, and fault-finding.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.\nExperience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nProactive, organised, and committed to continuous improvement.\nExcellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
