This is actually a long term contract role, paying circa £66,000, this includes holiday allowance and pension. Company can wait for your notice i.e. 4 weeks for the right person.

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading, world-class manufacturing business in Leeds. This Maintenance Engineer role is a hands-on position within a highly automated, state-of-the-art production environment.

The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production through both reactive and planned maintenance across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Reactive and planned maintenance across production machinery and process plant

Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding and repairs

Supporting continuous improvement and project work

Maintaining automated machinery across the site

Working with pumps, motors, gearboxes, and related equipment

Minimising downtime and maximising machine performance
