Job Title: Maintenance Electrician\nLocation: Nottingham, NG7 2RD\nWorking Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexibility required; subject to approval by Contract Manager)\nSalary: up to £41,000\n\nJob Overview:\n\nWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems across a commercial site, ensuring all works are completed to high standards of safety, reliability, and compliance. This is a full-time role suited to someone with experience in facilities management or commercial maintenance environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site\n\n * \n\n Respond to on-call emergencies within a 1-hour SLA, assess and begin rectification\n\n * \n\n Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with regulations\n\n * \n\n Work with AHU (Air Handling Units) systems and support HVAC maintenance where applicable\n\n * \n\n Liaise with site staff and contractors to ensure minimal disruption during works\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records\n\nRequirements:\n\nEssential:\n\n * \n\n 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification\n\n * \n\n Experience in FM (Facilities Management) or Commercial environments\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of Air Handling Units (AHUs)\n\nDesirable:\n\n * \n\n 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification\n\n * \n\n F-Gas certification\n\nAdditional Information:\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence required\n\n * \n\n Flexibility in working hours may be needed based on operational demands\n\n * \n\n Participation in an on-call rota is expected
