Maintenance Electrician - £18ph-£20ph - Permanent - Ipswich, Suffolk

Are you an experienced Electrician looking for a varied, hands-on role within a well-established engineering business?

We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join a specialist engineering company based in Ipswich, with nearly 40 years of industry experience. This is a permanent opportunity offering a negotiable salary and regular overtime.

The company will put the successful candidate through all the necessary qualifications / tickets.

This role will involve working across site improvements, plant maintenance, and electrical installations, making it ideal for someone with a strong industrial background who enjoys a varied workload.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical maintenance across plant and facilities Support building upgrades and site improvements Work with heavy industrial equipment and machinery Maintain and service plant equipment, including FLTs and PAT testing Work on industrial electrical installations Assist with panel building and control systems where required Support maintenance and repair of overhead cranes Work with 24v DC control circuits and solenoid valves About You
