Maintenance Electrician Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently seeking to recruit an on-site Maintenance Electrician to work at HMP Onley , Willoughby (near Rugby), Warwickshire.

The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, with an hour earlier finish every Friday.
There is a need to work 1 in 3 weekends, but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).
Duties: Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met across the contract.
Testing and inspecting electrical installations in line with current IEE wiring regulations.
Responding promptly to breakdowns, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Performing planned and preventative electrical maintenance and diagnosing/replacing failed domestic electrical components.
Actively fault finding and problem solving on domestic electrical systems.
Undertaking electrical installation activities according to provided designs and IET.
Wiring Regulations.
Monitoring and ordering critical spares for all electrical services, and oversee the BMS System.
Supporting zero carbon initiatives, contributing to sustainability goals, and handling additional tasks as directed by your line manager.
Skills and Experience: Appropriate technical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3, BTEC, NVQ level 3 or above).
BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations, specifically 18th Edition.
Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations.
Experience of electrical maintenance activities, general distribution, installation, and testing.
Ability to work alone and use initiative.
Capable of working at heights.
Prison Security Clearance will be required.
Pay rate: £21.00 to £25.00 per hour Working hours: The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, with an hour earlier finish every Friday.
