Are you a Maintenance Electrician? Have you previously worked in a heavy forge environment? Do you want to work for one of the UKs leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers?Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA) have an exciting opportunity to join their Maintenance team as a Maintenance Electrician The role is working Monday to Friday on working on rotating 2 shift pattern Monday to Friday - 6am-1.30pm and 12-7.30pm.Main duties of the role:Planned Preventative Maintenance tasksInstallation of new plantPlanning electrical maintenance tasks for completion during the shutdownDevelopment and upgrading of existing equipmentGood knowledge of safety and permit to work systemsReactive MaintenancePAT testingInspection and testing of electrical equipmentYou Should be:Apprentice trained maintenance engineer with electrical biasPrevious experience in heavy industrial environmentNVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent17th Edition wiring regulationsHave experience in fault finding, wiring and instrumentation work, preventative maintenance (PPM) reactive maintenanceFault finding on PLCMore about IFA:We manufacture high-integrity, open-die and closed-die forged components in nickel alloy, titanium, stainless steel and carbon alloys for customers and tier-one suppliers within the aerospace, nuclear, power generation, marine as well as oil and gas sector.
