Maintenance ElectricianLocation: DevizesFull Time | Rotating Shift PatternSalary package £40-45K plus benefits

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join their established manufacturing operation based in Devizes, Wiltshire.

The company manufactures precision engineered components supplied to a global customer base across the automotive, aerospace, and power industries. With three sites across the South West of England.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established maintenance team where you will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant equipment, helping to ensure the continued efficiency and reliability of the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical maintenance and installation across a variety of industrial and building services equipment. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with maintenance schedules Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements Assist with new equipment installations and plant commissioning Update and maintain records within the maintenance management system following all activities Monitor and continuously improve maintenance processes in line with OEM standards Support initiatives to improve plant performance and manufacturing efficiency Provide guidance and mentorship to Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Apprentices

Working Hours

This role operates on a rotating day shift pattern:

Week 1Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00Friday: 06:00 - 13:00

Week 2Monday - Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00Friday: 13:00 - 20:00

Skills & Experience Required

Qualified Electrician 18th Edition BS7671:2018 IET Wiring Regulations (essential) Previous experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment Experience maintaining shop floor machinery such as mills, lathes, or similar equipment would be advantageous Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability Ability to work effectively within a team environment
