Job Description Mobile Maintenance Electrician – Cumbria – Global Facilities Management Organisation: Government
CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis. Our client is a leading provider of facilities management solutions, delivering services across commercial and government environments.
The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background and will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a large government contract. This is a mobile role, covering urban areas across Cumbria, working as part of a wider multi skilled engineering team.

Salary: £41,000 – £46,000 per annum (dependent on experience & qualifications)
\n
Company vehicle & fuel card supplied
\n
Monday – Friday working pattern
\n
Core hours 8:00am – 5:00pm
\n
On-call rota: 1 in 8 – 1 in 10
\n
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:
\n
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across government buildings
\n
Work on emergency lighting, distribution boards and power circuits
\n
Respond to electrical faults and complete repairs efficiently
\n
Undertake ad-hoc mechanical and/or fabric repairs where required
\n
Participate in the on-call rota
\n
Complete all relevant paperwork and compliance documentation
\n
Work collaboratively as part of a team of 9–10 engineers across multiple trades
\n
Qualifications:
\n
Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
\n
2391 Testing & Inspection beneficial but not essential
\n
Previous experience within Facilities Management , though candidates from an installation background will be considered
\n
Full UK driving licence – essential
\n
Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
\n
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a wider team
\n
Must be able to pass BPSS security clearance
\n
