Booth Welsh are looking for experienced Machinists across multiple disciplines to join a growing engineering team. Whether your background is CNC, manual machining, milling, turning, or EDM, there are opportunities here to work on high-quality, precision components across a range of industries.

These are hands-on role suited to individuals who take pride in their work, understand tight tolerances, and can work independently or as part of a skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

Set, operate, and (where applicable) programme CNC machines
Manual machining including milling, turning, and grinding
Work to engineering drawings and tight tolerances
EDM (wire/sinker) operation where applicable
Inspect finished components using measuring equipment
Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
Work collaboratively with engineers and production teams

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in machining (CNC and/or manual)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience with milling, turning, or EDM processes
Strong attention to detail and quality
Self-motivated with a proactive approach
Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification preferred
