Machine Operator

Our client in Musselburgh is seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join their busy site within the waste management industry.
Machinery You Will Operate:
* 360 Rubber Duck with Grab
* 360 Digger
* Loading Shovel
* Telescopic Forklift
We are ideally looking for someone confident operating all four machines, but candidates with the ability to operate at least two will also be considered.
Requirements:
* Valid CPCS / NPORS / In-house qualification (for relevant machines)
* Own PPE
* Previous experience in the waste/recycling industry is essential
* Flexible and hardworking attitude
Job Duties Include:
* Operating machinery safely and efficiently across different site areas
* Sorting and moving waste materials using the grab and shovel
* Feeding materials into the sorting plant’s hoppers
* Loading/unloading trucks and containers
* Keeping the working area clean and organised
* Performing routine checks on machines and reporting any defects
* Assisting with other yard or plant duties as required
* Working closely with site supervisors and following site safety protocols
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM and weekends available.
Start Date: Immediate
