CNC Machine Operator – Night Shift
Tranent | Full Time | Permanent
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our night shift team in Tranent. You’ll operate CNC machinery to produce high quality steel components for major UK infrastructure and energy projects.
This is a hands on role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, quality and getting the job done right.
The role
Set up and operate CNC machines Work from technical drawings and specifications Check dimensions and tolerances to quality standards Carry out cutting, grinding and finishing tasks Operate overhead cranes and hand tools safely Inspect your own work and keep production moving
What we’re looking for
CNC machine operating experience Structural steel experience Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable and comfortable working permanent night shift Programming experience an advantage
