Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Machine Setter/Operator to work in their leading facility in Wem
For the successful Machine Setter/Operator our client is offering;
\n
Temporary-Permanent position
\n
7.00 am - 19.00 pm (4 on 4 off days)
\n
Starting rate of £9.00 per hour, potentially rising to £9.50 per hour (depending on performance/experience)
\n

Training and development opportunities
\n
The Role of the Machine Setter/Operator;
\n
Setting up robotic equipment (e.g. choosing the right program, putting on interchangeable parts to suit the product to be run)
\n
Populating and keeping equipment populated with packaging
\n
Clearing blockages and basic troubleshooting
\n
Efficient changeovers between products
\n
Quality checks - mostly date code checks and weight checks
\n
Selecting the correct program on batch code printers
\n
Recording checks and batch details
\n
What our client is looking for in a Machine Setter/Operator;
\n
Previous Machine Operating/Setting experience - Essential
\n
Previous food manufacturing/packaging experience is preferred
\n
Mechanical maintenance experience would be highly advantageous
\n
