Job Description
We are currently looking for Machine Operators to work for a drinks manufacturer in the Bradford area.\n\nWorking as part of a team to own the manufacturing process and to deliver the key performance objectives in the QCDSP framework, whilst maintaining the operational plant in the Ingredients Processing Centre.\nHours: 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am \nShifts: Continental shift pattern which involves working days, nights and weekends\nPay: £15.87 per hour \nOvertime rates: Up to £24.42 per hour\nDuration: Temporary ongoing LONG TERM, permanent opportunities available\n\nKey responsibilities:\n* Fault finding and low-level correction Pump and valve isolation.\n* MES SCADA error management Chemical handing and awareness\n* Mechanical maintenance basic level (AM)\n* System auditing and reporting\n* Performing dynamic risk assessments\n* Compilation of Standard Operating procedures\n* Project team involvement and delivery as required. \n* Continuous Improvement of plant and process\n* Ensure the accurate transfer and consumption of raw materials between onsite storage locations, using \n FIFO, Batch management principles, utilising the site IT system.\n* Manufacture syrups using standard recipes, utilising the Manufacturing Execution Systems and SCADA \n systems.\n* Train and support team development in the creation and use of Standard Operating Procedures. To utilise \n the MES and SCADA system to monitor the operational plant and resolve any error logs/system faults, \n compile fault log.\n* Own and deliver key performance objectives using the QCDSP manufacturing framework and sustain the \n plant performance using the appropriate Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.\n* Maintain the hygiene standards of the Ingredient Process Centre using 5S principles.\n* Control the cleaning of downstream equipment liaising with external manufacturing team leaders.\n\nQualifications/Skills/Experience:\nEssential:\n* Experience of using manufacturing execution systems (MES)\n* 5S and BIT trained (or equivalent NVQ qualification to Level Il)\n* Food Awareness and Hygiene certified\n* Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office)\n* Autonomous Maintenance - Basic Mechanical skills \n\nIf you are interested please apply now with your CV.
