Production/Machine Operator Location: Livingston Shift Pattern: 12-hour day shift/ Nightshift rotation Salary: 17.75ph The Role We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in producing high-quality products in line with production schedules. The work can vary from high-volume output to more detailed, complex processes, so no two days are quite the same. This is a VERY manual role, lots of lifting and moving consistently throughout the day so you need to be very active for the role. If you enjoy practical work, being part of a team, and taking pride in doing a job well, this could be a great fit. This is a temporary role with ongoing work available. What You'll Be Doing Operating machinery and equipment in line with work instructions Meeting production targets set by the Section Leader Completing all required documentation accurately and on time Following safety procedures and company standards at all times Minimising material waste through good working practices Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site Assisting in training new team members where required Taking part in team meetings and contributing ideas Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Ensuring equipment is used correctly and kept in good condition What We're Looking For Good basic numeracy and literacy skills A flexible and positive attitude Strong time management and attention to detail Good manual dexterity Willingness to learn and develop new skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Comfortable following processes and working with minimal supervision Additional Expectations You'll be involved in a range of daily, weekly and monthly activities, including safety checks, quality processes, 5S standards, and general area health checks.
