We are seeking a caring and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly nursery team in Newtown. This is a rewarding role supporting young children during their lunchtime routine in a safe and nurturing environment.

Hours: 2 hours per day (11:30am – 1:30pm)

Job Role

* Supervising children during lunch in the dining and play areas

* Supporting children with eating and encouraging good table manners

* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times

* Promoting positive behaviour and managing minor incidents calmly

* Assisting with setting up and clearing away lunch areas

* Encouraging social interaction and inclusive play

* Reporting any concerns to senior staff in line with safeguarding procedures

The Right Candidate

* Has a genuine interest in working with young children

* Is patient, caring and approachable

* Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills

* Can remain calm and professional in a busy environment

* Has an understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)

* Is punctual, reliable and able to commit to the working hours

* Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential
