They provide tailored energy solutions to help customers reduce costs and carbon emissions through innovative products and services. \n\nBenefits of the LPG Project Engineer \n\n£45k-£55k Basic Salary \n\n£12% Bonus\n\nCompany car\n\nPension \n\n25 Days holiday \n\nBupa private Dental and Healthcare \n\nThe Role of the LPG project Engineer \n\nThis role is to take ownership of end-to-end LPG infrastructure projects from concept through to commissioning \n\nAs Project Engineer, you will combine technical excellence with commercial acumen, managing LPG installations in different sectors from aggregates to distilleries, supporting businesses to transition to greener fuel. \n\nYou'll work directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, serving as the technical expert throughout project lifecycles while ensuring absolute compliance with safety standards \n\nLead end-to-end project delivery with full ownership of planning, scheduling, and budget management \n\nDesign technical solutions including functional specifications, engineering drawings, and calculations (pressure drops, storage sizing, venting) \n\nEnsure regulatory compliance with IGEM/UP Codes of Practice, GSIUR, BS EN standards, and building regulations \n\nProvide on-site engineering authority during construction, installation, and commissioning phases \n\nManage stakeholder relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies \n\nLead safety reviews including HAZOP, HAZID, and risk assessments throughout project development \n\nSupport business growth by providing technical expertise for proposals, tenders, and feasibility studies \n\nThe Ideal Person for the LPG Engineer \n\n3+ years project engineering experience in LPG, Industrial Gases, Oil & Gas, or related energy sectors \n\nStrong knowledge of LPG system design, storage, and distribution infrastructure \n\nIn-depth understanding of IGEM/UP Codes of Practice (UP/1, UP/2, UP/10, UP/16) and UK LPG regulations \n\nProficiency in 2D AutoCAD and ability to interpret/create P&IDs and technical schematics \n\nProject management qualification (Prince2, APM, PMI, or equivalent) \n\nExcellent communication skills with ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences \n\nFull UK driving licence \n\nIf you think the role of LPG Engineer is for you, apply now! \n\nConsultant: David Gray \n\nEmail: (url removed) \n\nTel no.: (phone number removed) \n\nCandidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK. \n\nAbout On Target \n\nAt On Target, we specialise in sales, technical and commercial jobs in the Engineering, Construction, Building Services, Medical & Scientific, and Commercial & Industrial Solutions sectors, enabling our consultants to become experts in their market sector.
