Job Summary

The Team
The Surrey Newton Child and Youth Mental Health Team is a diverse and passionate group of professionals committed to supporting the mental well-being of children and youth. Our team includes experienced clinicians, a dedicated nurse, and an early childhood specialist who work together to provide vital mental health services. We partner closely with families and communities to create supportive environments for young people facing serious emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric challenges. What sets this team apart is our strong sense of collaboration, mutual respect, and dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.


The Role
In this role, you will provide direct clinical services, including intake, assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention for children, youth, and families. You will collaborate with team members, community agencies, schools, hospitals, and other ministry programs while conducting individual, group, and family therapy. Being a vital piece of the multidisciplinary team, your work will contribute to the youth and their families feeling confident in their ability to move through change and navigate recovery. This role will provide an opportunity to work with a collaborative and passionate team to support the youth and families navigating challenges. This role offers a hybrid model that may offer the opportunity to work from home up to 2 days a week, depending on operational needs based on flexible work agreements.

An eligibility list may be established to fill future permanent and/or part-timevacancies in the South Fraser CYMH service delivery area of Delta, Surrey, and Langley. .
Flexible work options are available; this position may offer the opportunity to work from home up to two (2) days a week, depending on operations needs based on flexible work agreements as per the Telework Agreement
Applicants who do not fully meet the required qualifications may be considered for this position, but at a lower classification.
