We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Operator in our Kerry Team in Menstrie, Clackmannanshire, Scotland.

It is a full-time, permanent position based of a shift work, rotating early (0600 – 1400) and afternoon (1400 – 2200) shifts, Monday to Friday.

Where will you work?

Our Kerry site in Menstrie has a manufacturing history dating back over 250 years. The current plant has been largely developed over the last 30 years and is now a highly sophisticated, leading edge semi continuous process plant with high levels of automation, process control and hygienic design standards. We manufacture yeast-based ingredients for a variety of food and cell nutrition applications, as well as being a leading supplier of yeast to the whisky industry.

Responsibilities of Logistics Operator will include

• Moving finished goods, packaging and raw materials to and from production areas and the warehouse.
• Operating forklifts and pallet trucks.
• Occasional manual handling, the heaviest bags are 25kg.
• Conducting visual quality checks of products and materials.
• Participating in stock count activities.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Recording data on SAP, Excel, and paper logs.
• Cooperating with other departments on the site.

• HGV Class 2 license - preferred.
• Valid CPC license – preferred.
• Previous experience in warehousing - preferred.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Experience in operating forklift and powered pallet truck.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good communicator.
• Good time management.
• Ability to work on your own and in a team.
