Job Description
Attribution Search are currently supporting a mid-sized private debt manager in their search for a Junior Loan Operations Specialist to join their London office on a permanent basis.
The company has experienced consistent growth since inception and is now looking to add to its Operations team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior professional to build on early experience in syndicated loans within a dynamic and fast-paced investment environment.
As a Junior Loan Operations Specialist, you will support the operational execution of syndicated loan transactions, helping to ensure that all aspects of loan administration run smoothly. You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, providing key support to the investment desk.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and review syndicated loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreements
Assist with the day-to-day administration of syndicated loans, including monitoring drawdowns, repayments, and interest payments
Liaise with relationship managers, legal teams, agents, and lenders to resolve issues and maintain efficient loan operations
Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and maintained within the loan servicing system
Support the preparation of regular reporting on loan activity, financial positions, and compliance
Assist with covenant monitoring, compliance checks, and regulatory reporting
Required experience:
1–3 years of relevant experience or exposure to syndicated loans or loan operations
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
Basic understanding of syndicated loan structures, terms, and processes
Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel); experience with loan servicing systems such as WSO is advantageous
Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
