Help keep Belfast Clean, Safe and Welcoming. Belfast City Council are currently seeking a dedicated and community focused individual to join their frontline team as a Litter Warden. This role is based on a 37 hour working week with an hourly rate of £15.82 per hour. Shift pattern consists of 7.30am-3.30pm Monday to Thursday and a 3pm finish on Fridays. Located at 4-10 Linenhall Street, Belfast. Estimated start date is 01/09/2025 Main responsibilities will include: Working across Belfasts streets and public spaces Patrolling and engaging with the public Issue fixed penalty notices where appropriate Play a key role in tackling environmental issues such as littering, graffiti and illegal waste disposal If youre confident in dealing with the public, and committed to making a visible difference in your community, we want to hear from you.
