Core Responsibilities
Handle a varied caseload of property related litigation matters, including landlord-tenant disputes, boundary disputes, leasehold enfranchisement, and property repossessions.
Provide clear, strategic legal advice to clients, guiding them through the litigation/criminal process from initial consultation to resolution.
Draft and review legal documents (statements of claim, defences, witness statements, bail applications) with precision and attention to detail.
Represent clients in court hearings, tribunals, and negotiations, advocating effectively to achieve favourable outcomes.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring regular communication and high levels of client satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage cases efficiently and comply with regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements
UK Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification experience in property civil litigation and criminal defence (specific experience in bail, speeding, and PI is essential).
Strong court advocacy skills and proven experience representing clients in civil and criminal proceedings.
Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin, with the ability to draft legal documents and communicate effectively in both languages.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly to clients.
Client-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
