Lighting Controls Designer\n\nHybrid Working\n£40,000 to £55,000\n\nBehind every successful smart building or lighting installation is a well designed control system.\n\nA specialist building technology integrator is looking for a Lighting Controls Designer to support the design and development of lighting control solutions across a range of modern building projects.\n\nThese projects span commercial offices, high end residential developments and hospitality environments where intelligent lighting systems play a key role in how spaces operate.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will focus on the technical design of lighting control systems, working closely with project teams, consultants and engineers to ensure systems are structured correctly before installation begins.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\n* Designing lighting control systems for commercial and residential environments\n* Producing control schematics and system layouts\n* Creating panel schedules and device specifications\n* Developing system architecture and control strategies\n* Working with architects, consultants and project teams\n* Supporting engineers during installation and delivery phases\n\nYou will play a key role in ensuring systems are designed efficiently, clearly documented and ready for smooth project delivery.\n\nAbout You\n\nThis role suits someone with experience in lighting controls who enjoys the design and planning side of projects.\n\nYou may currently work for a lighting manufacturer, building technology integrator, consultancy or specialist design practice.\n\nWe would expect to see:\n\n* Experience designing lighting control systems\n* Knowledge of platforms such as DALI, KNX, Helvar, Lutron or Dynalite\n* Ability to produce schematics and technical documentation\n* Understanding of lighting control architecture and device specification\n* Strong attention to detail and technical communication skills\n\nEngineers who have transitioned into design roles are also encouraged to apply.\n\nPackage\n\n* £40,000 to £55,000 salary depending on experience\n* Hybrid working available\n* Opportunity to work on modern smart building projects\n* Collaborative design focused environment\n* Long term career development\n\nCompany details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.\n\nKeywords\n\nLighting Controls Designer, Lighting Control Design Engineer, Lighting Systems Designer, DALI Designer, KNX Designer, Lutron Designer, Dynalite Designer, Helvar Designer, Smart Building Designer, Building Automation Design, Lighting Control Schematics, Lighting System Architecture, Lighting Control Consultant, Smart Lighting Systems\n\nINDAV
