Lift Service Call-Out Engineer

Overview We are looking for a skilled and reliable Lift Service Engineer with strong diagnostic abilities and a customer-focused attitude. The ideal candidate will be NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) , experienced in servicing and callouts, and confident working independently to manage their own schedule. Someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to high safety standards will thrive in this role. Key Responsibilities Respond to emergency callouts and breakdowns across your designated area Diagnose and repair lift faults efficiently and safely Carry out minor adjustments and temporary fixes to restore service Complete accurate and timely service reports and documentation Liaise with the office team and customers to provide updates and ensure customer satisfaction Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours emergency response Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures Requirements NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering Proven experience in lift service and callout response Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence (essential) Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Knowledge of major lift brands and control systems (advantageous) What We Offer Competitive salary with overtime and callout payments Company vehicle, fuel card, and tools Mobile phone and uniform Pension scheme and holiday allowance Ongoing training and development opportunities Supportive and professional team environment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year Licence/Certification: NVQ3 (preferred) Work Location: In person
