MELKSHAM - FULL TIME - PERMANENT ROLES
Our client is looking for permanent staff to join their driving team in Melksham to deliver merchandise to customers & hubs throughout the country. You will need a minimum of 6 months Class 1 / LGV C+E / HGV C+E / HGV 1 experience and be 25 years or over (for insurance purposes). You will need to be comfortable driving in London (when required) and doing some physical duties as part of the job.
Pay is equivalent to £17.48 ph (£(phone number removed) pa) basic with overtime paid after 42 hours and for weekend working. You will be working any 5 days out of seven and this role also involves 1-2 nights out each week.
You must have a great working knowledge of drivers’ hours and the working time directive and good geographical knowledge.
Drawbar experience is preferred but not essential...
