POSITION \nLevel 6 Early Years Practitioner \n \nABOUT THE SCHOOL \nProspero Teaching is looking for a Level 6 Early Years Practitioner for an Ofsted Outstanding Primary school in Hampton, South West London. \n\nThis position is ideal for a highly qualified Level 6 Early Years Practitioner with a childcare or early years-related degree. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for early childhood education, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards across the Early Years provision. The school seeks someone who can effectively support and motivate staff, inspiring the Early Years team to deliver outstanding practice and ensure that every child receives the best possible start to their educational journey.
This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent, subject to performance. \n \nCONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS \nLocation - Hampton, South West London \nPosition - Level 6 Early Years Practitioner \nType of work - Leadership role overseeing the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, including planning, assessment and staff management. \n· Contract or position start date - 5th January 2026 \nContract or position end date - July 2026 with a view to extend \nContract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary \nFull time/part time - Full time \nSalary - GBP105 - GBP115 (dependent on experience) \nHours - 8:00am - 16:00pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) \n\nEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS \n BA Degree within Childcare, Early years, Education or the equivalent.
\nMinimum of 2 years' experience in Early Years \n· Proven experience in managing behaviour and creating a nurturing, positive learning environment \nStrong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in Early Years education \nExperience working with children with SEN and EAL \n· Up to date safeguarding training \n\nTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: \nHold Right to Work in the UK \nHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application \nProvide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years \n\nOTHER \nIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
