We are currently seeking a highly motivated Technician to join our Non-Destructive Testing business line. Working within the Metallurgical Assessment Team, the role will prepare and assess samples in line with specifications for manufacturing quality control.
ABOUT YOU We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused technician with a background or strong interest in metallurgy and materials testing. The role requires someone who can confidently receive, prepare and assess samples using optical microscopy in line with specifications. We are looking for an individual who can manage their own workload effectively to ensure KPI turnaround times are consistently met. Maintaining equipment to a high standard is essential, including carrying out routine quality control checks and keeping accurate logs. You will be able to produce clear, concise technical reports using Microsoft Office and communicate results professionally.
Required skills and experience: Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel. Good verbal and written communication skills. Degree or HND in science / engineering preferred. Experience working in a laboratory environment...
